One day in Ukraine, I wondered off into the carpathian mountain woods and after some rain and fog, the sun appeared and I captured that moment

Walking in the hills of the center of Kiev is very cool. Just 5-10 minutes from the energetic center and the Maydan Square you are in a green hill side overlooking the Zamkowa Góra and also the very creative part of kiev, called; Landscape Alley.

I love this fully opened sunflower, 1 of the flower symbols of Ukraine;  It also symbolizes fecundity and fertility, unity and well-being.

Dark Mist

After a shower, the sun does his work and creates a mystical atmosphere in the mountains of Ukraine. The mist is slowly moving away and creates great effects in the tree tops.

The wet road highlights in this picture, and takes you towards the misty mountains.

A girl from Kiev sneaked up on the bridge to get away from city life and was chilling out with a sigaret. This is taken on an abandoned bridge in the port next to Podil.

Just as the sun was setting behind the city of Kiev, I saw this great opportunity to capture the 'kyiv mohyla academy'.

Uspenskyi Sobor is the biggest monastery that I have seen so far, which is still used everyday by the people of Kiev.

On a sunset evening in Kiev, I took my 400mm lens I shot this sunset  with the Kiev Television Tower right in the middle.

Its 386 meters tall and was originally designed for moscow. This structure is 100% welded together.
